Privacy Policy

KaraokeYT helps venues manage live karaoke queues and lets guests search for karaoke tracks, join a venue, request songs, and follow queue status. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can request access, correction, or deletion.

Information We Collect

We collect account information such as your name, email address, password authentication data, Google Sign-In identifiers when you choose Google Sign-In, role, assigned venue, table assignment when used by a venue, and basic sign-in activity.

We collect karaoke activity such as search text, selected YouTube video identifiers and titles, favorites, song requests, queue status, credits balance, voucher redemptions, purchase records, and cancellation or refund events.

If you enable notifications, we collect device push tokens and related delivery status for Firebase Cloud Messaging, Apple Push Notification service, and iOS Live Activities. We do not collect precise location data.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate the karaoke queue, authenticate users, connect guests to the correct venue, process song requests, display queue status, manage credits and purchases, prevent abuse, provide support, and improve reliability and security.

Payments and Credits

KaraokeYT may support App Store in-app purchases for credits in the iOS app. Web-based venue and guest checkout flows may use Stripe. Payment providers process payment details directly; KaraokeYT stores purchase status, product identifiers, transaction references, amounts, credits granted, and related accounting records.

YouTube and Google Services

KaraokeYT uses YouTube API Services and embedded YouTube playback to search for and play karaoke videos. We do not download, store, or redistribute YouTube videos. Your use of YouTube-powered features is also governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

KaraokeYT may also use Google Sign-In and Firebase services for authentication, app configuration, and push notifications.

Sharing

We share information with service providers only as needed to operate KaraokeYT, including hosting, database, authentication, push notification, payment, and video/search providers. Venue operators can see guest and queue information needed to run their karaoke session. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and Deletion

We keep account, queue, purchase, voucher, and support records for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, meet legal or accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. Some financial records may need to be retained even after account deletion.

To request access, correction, or deletion of your data, contact us at info@ahsoft.ae. Include the email address used for your account and the venue, if applicable. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information, including encrypted transport and secure token storage in the mobile app. No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children

KaraokeYT is intended for use by venues and guests old enough to participate in karaoke events. It is not directed to children under 13.
